What Seated is
Seated (seated.club) is software for the staff running a poker cash-game event. It keeps a live leaderboard of hours played and tracks who is sitting at which table. It records no money. It is used by the floor managers and table managers working an event — it is not an app for players, and there is no public sign-up.
Seated is built and run by one person, Kunal Agarwal (kunal.95a@gmail.com). It is not a company. It is provided as-is, for free, and it may change or stop at any time.
Using Seated means you accept these terms. If you do not, do not sign in.
Who may use it
You may use Seated if the organiser of an event has let you in. That happens one of two ways: you enter the event’s invite code and a manager approves you, or a manager adds your email address directly. Anyone can sign in with a Google account, but until an event admits you, you can see nothing.
You must be old enough to work at the event you are staffing, and allowed to work at it.
Your account
Signing in is done with your Google account. Seated does not have its own passwords. Whatever is logged under your account is treated as yours: every seating change and edit is written to an audit log with your name against it, and the event’s managers can read that log.
Do not share your sign-in or let someone else work a shift on your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell the event’s floor manager and email kunal.95a@gmail.com.
How you must use it
- Log what actually happened. Seat, sit-out, move and rack-up records are the event’s record of the night. Do not enter times you know to be wrong, and fix mistakes rather than leaving them.
- Only enter a player’s details — name, nickname, phone number, photo, notes — when you need them to run the event. Those people are not users of Seated; they are trusting the staff in front of them. Keep notes factual and about the game.
- Do not share your sign-in, and do not try to reach events, tables or players you have not been given access to.
- A floor manager can export an event’s sessions and leaderboard as CSV, and the buy-ins recorded before recording was withdrawn. Those files are the organiser’s record — do not take a copy for your own use, and do not use anything you see here to contact players outside the event.
- Do not attack, scrape or overload the service, or try to get around the permission checks.
The event’s data belongs to the event
The organiser of an event decides what is recorded at it, who on their staff can see it, and what happens to it afterwards. Seated stores that data and shows it back to them. It does not sell it, mine it, advertise against it, or share it with anyone beyond the services needed to run the app (Vercel for hosting and file storage, Neon for the database).
One exception is worth knowing: a player is a single record shared across every event on Seated, not a copy per event. Staff at another event who search that name will see it, along with how many past events the person has been on and their lifetime hours, and adding them to their roster shows them the stored phone number, photo and notes. The privacy notice says the same in more detail.
Prizes, payouts and any dispute about hours are between the players and the organiser. Seated records hours; the organiser decides what they mean and who gets paid.
Seated does not run the game
Seated is a record-keeping tool. It does not run a card game, take bets, hold or move money, process payments, or settle anything between players. It records no money at all — buy-in recording was withdrawn on 5 September 2026 — and no money passes through this app. Whether the event itself is legal, licensed and correctly run is entirely the organiser’s responsibility, not Seated’s.
No warranty
Seated is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It may have bugs, it may be down, a device may lose connection mid-shift, and a record may be wrong or missing. Check anything that matters — payouts especially — against what you and the organiser know, not against the screen alone.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Kunal Agarwal is not liable for any loss arising from your use of Seated or from the records it holds — including wrong hours, a missed or duplicated entry, downtime, or lost data. That includes money paid out or not paid out on the basis of a leaderboard. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Access can be revoked
An event’s managers can remove you from their event, change your role, or take away your tables at any time, for any reason, without notice. A super admin can do the same anywhere in the app. Losing access to an event does not delete what you logged while you had it — the event keeps its record.
Ending and deletion
You can stop using Seated whenever you like by not signing in. To have your own account — your email, name and Google profile picture — deleted, email kunal.95a@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. Records of what you did during an event stay with that event’s organiser, since they are the event’s record, not yours; where they name you, they can be reduced to a deleted user.
Your access can also be ended by me if you break these terms or if the service shuts down. See the privacy notice for what is stored and where.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did. If a change matters, it will be mentioned to the event managers using the app. Continuing to sign in after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
